I trained as a photographer , i'm a mild hemiaplegic cerebral palsic ,I've been a care assistant for social services working mainly for other people with physical disabilities . I've been a community artist for various organisations . I left Manchester in 1990 to do an art degree in Stoke on Trent , became a full time pavement artist, worked for the N.H.S as a sex education project worker for kids who'd been excluded from school in stoke, then a year or so as their art teacher , I also worked helping to organise a festival in hanley park ,after leaving the midlands ,i continued with the street art and became a wanderer , finally settling in Norfolk , buying and living on a boat on the Norfolk Broads . I've been here now for over ten years(fucking public transport) working as an artist, having taught water colours also teaching privately I've been involved in festival organisation one of which was televised by the BBC as part of the millennium celebrations , I've worked on many other festivals in Norfolk and Suffolk ,usually as an artist/maker in some capacity ,this year I'm a photographer on East Anglia's biggest out door music festival!.i like working and spending time with creative people .I've had to spend the last few years working out health issues ,and setting up a small art studio,I've just been given a disability development worker and am about to become a child protection officer ,,i have many interests (probably far too many) but that makes me happy and i feel happy! . I want to use this space to connect with other disabled/abled artists/creative people .
