Throne of Odin

About Me

August, 2006. After the decline of As Long as People Die, guitarists Houston Davidson and Mik Espinel kept working on specifically selected songs from their old material along with vocalist Cody Hancock under the name Throne of Odin, seeking a better defined direction for its sound. With David Pate (shortly thereafter followed by TK) and Westly Thomas--on bass and drums, respectively--the band reached new levels of competency and sound. Shortly after, Cody Hancock quit the band for personal reasons; consequently, guitarist Houston Davidson became in charge of vocals as well.
After this transition period, the band quickly became a strong entity and the songwriting process became increasingly productive, counting with contribution from all the members, thus making the music more unique. By late 2006 the band had its first performances with a very well accepted response. In the meantime, the band is gathering enough material to make a recording that meets the standards of the sound desired by the band.
