The Early Bird May Get A Worm, But The Second Mouse Gets The Cheese...

About Me

.. 6'0" 170lbs...I like to do lots of things; my favorite two things in the world are baseball and rock music...and NOT this new junk on the hit radio, i mean real rock music like Zeppelin, Hendrix and Sabbath...about baseball, my favorite team is the Chicago White Sox no question about it..been a long time sox fan since the early 90s when Frank Thomas was the best hitter in the game. I watch and like to play other sports like golf, tennis, soccer, hockey, etc; but none more religiously than baseball. I play guitar and lots of other instruments; I can play almost any instrument I pick up. Well thats enough about me I guess. Want to know anything else feel free to ask...
Heaven on Earth
What is there to say about this place? It is my favorite place in the world to be...I cannot put into words what i feel when i walk through the gates, when I step out of the inside concourse through the gate portal and look out onto the field...sure, it might not be as highly touted as Fenway, Yankee, or Busch; but to me it is better, b/c it is different and has things those parks cannot offer. It is spacious...the wide open feeling i get when i am out strolling the outfield open-air concourse is amazing. The gigantic scoreboard is one of the best in all of baseball. The renovations have truely made this park even more beautiful than ever; from the dark green seats, to the scoreboard and outfield renovations...the ballpark is upgrading every year and becoming better and better than the year before. But the best thing of all in this stadium is the team which takes the field 81 times a year; The Chicago White Sox, owners of the best record in the American League. Living and dieing with a team on an almost daily basis throughout a long 162 game season that spans most of spring and the entire summer; there's no feeling like it. So to sum it up, there is no place in the world on a summer night that i would rather be than down on 35th street cheering the White Sox to victory under the lights of US Cellular Field.

My Interests

Sports and Music, Simply put.

I'd like to meet:

2005 White Sox World Champions
You aren't forgotten, nor will you ever be!

------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- Seinfeld These are the Top 25 Seinfeld Moments of All-Time as voted by BagofShoes.com, i agree with the list mostly. It's not my list but it's cool enough, enjoy it; it's quite large it might take some time to load...but it's worth every second...

Rush

Alex Lifeson

Kenny Wayne Shepherd

Blues Festival 2007 frontlined Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and I was lucky enough to go and get front row almost. My ears are probably still ringing haha. He played a lot of his great blues originals, including Blue On Black. He also played some great classics like Voodoo Chile and Yellow Ledbetter. It was one of the best shows I've ever been to. Buy his albums I highly recommend them! I took the four pictures above at the concert.

Music:

Classic Rock of all different types; i.e. PINK FLOYD, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Guns N' Roses, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, The MC-5, Alice In Chains...etc etc the list goes on and on. Anything where I am submerged in intelligent lyrics with great guitar work.

Movies:

Ferris Buehler's Day Off; Seinfeld DVD collection; The Wall; Billy Madison; Scarface; The Godfather; The 6th Man; Eight Men Out; Apocalypse Now; but my alltime favorite movie ever is Escape from Alcatraz

Television:

Seinfeld is the Greatest Show EVER created! Other shows I watch are Sportscenter and Conan O'Brien every chance I get. Sometimes I watch the news, or comedic news like The Daily Show. Also I watch any sports on tv, especially the Chicago White Sox and Dallas Stars every single chance I possibly get.

MIKE MODANO & THE DALLAS STARS

Books:

Bill and James Historical Baseball Abstract...None But The Braves by Tom Glavine....Seinlanguage by Jerry Seinfeld...and I read a lot of magazines like ESPN...Tennis...Guitar World...Beckett...and others

Heroes:

2005 Chi-Sox - For the way you guys banded together and played as a team, the true meaning of teamwork. The unselfishness of this team to sacrifice when needed and to do whatever was asked of you by the manager Ozzie Guillen and coming through together in the end with a World Championship!
Carlos Santana - You were the first person I heard as a child playing long instrumental guitar solos and lines. I first got inspired to pick up a guitar listening to you and I thank you for all of your great music which inspired me.
Willis Reed - For your determination to play and give 110% in the 1970 NBA Finals; limping out onto the court and scoring the first 4 points with a broken leg in a walking cast in game 7!
Jimi Hendrix - The things you play which must have been conceived by the most intelligent of guitar players, your effortless play and ever raising the bar standards have inspired me to take my music beyond new heights. Thank you Mr. Hendrix and rest in piece in the clouds on little wings.
Tom Glavine - Thank you Tom for all the great years of watching you pitch and giving your all every time you step on the mound, every pitch you throw. The last few years have not been as kind to you but the effort and determination is still very much visible. I will continue to enjoy you until 2007 when you reach 300 wins and retire a Hall of Famer.
Frank Thomas - For earning every home run you hit in your entire career from a healthy diet and a great exercise routine; no steroids needed! Also for being the greatest White Sox player in team history. Thank you!
