We met for the first time at Venice Beach (remember that place) thru Michael Garcia (Andy's cousin) on May 3, 1997 just about six weeks after Veronica's mom passed on. We were engaged shortly there after on November 1, 1997. However, like we say "God doesn't close one door without opening another" because if Veronica's mom would have been alive in May, Veronica would never have met and married her wonderful husband Andy on April 1,2000. Because she would not have been able to go to Venice Beach Veronica's mom never let her go anywhere. Our parents were high school together (and a little there after) so they were able to tell Andy their recollections of Veronica's mom. We now have two beautiful and wonderful boys. Logan Xavier Rios was born on May 3, 2003. Exactly six years to the day that we met. Also, there isn't supposed to be an X-Men connection to his name. Logan-Wolverine, Professor Xavier it was a complete accident. Our second son is Gabriel Alexander who was born September 21, 2005. He was named after a wonderful comedian, Gabriel Iglesias.
