SHAUN was born and raised in the Bronx. Growing up in poverty never discouraged this singer/songwriter from her constant grind to make it in the world of music. L.A. SHAUN has been singing since the age of 2 yrs. Old. She got her start singing in the church. Even though she is primarily a R&B /Jazz singer she has never forgotten her gospel roots. What I find very special about L.A. SHAUN is that every song she writes sounds different she has this amazing versatility that will wow any listeners ears as to where one would be in total disbelief.
L.A. SHAUN has performed at various lounges throughout New York City a very spontaneous performer you never know where youll see her next. She is a very beautiful lady inside as well as outside her physical attributes has also helped her land a few modeling gigs. She realizes how difficult it is to make it in the music business but she will not give up.She does all her own promotion and leg work to get the exposure that she needs. L.A. SHAUN has been getting positive feedback from her music in clubs around New York City. Like a nomad she goes from place to place to make sure her music get's heard, with this ambition she will be extremely successful. If you were to ask L.A. SHAUN how would she want to be seen as an artist? On a more personal note L.A. SHAUN is a single parent raising her son Zavion. She knows being a single parent takes a lot of effort and dedication but that has never stagnated her passion and drive to make it in the music world, in fact it has made her more focused. L.A. SHAUN'S musical icon is Glady's Knight she has always dreamed of doing a collaboration with the great soulful legend. The way things are looking so far in L.A. SHAUN'S career her dream may soon come true. L.A. SHAUN will definitely be a voice in the music industry that will last for a lifetime. She has that it factor that can't be ignored.
