Vena Cava

VENA CAVA was formed in 2003 by 4 members (Minel/voice - ex FUNEBRE , Mishu/drums - ex FUNEBRE , BUCOVINA , Paolo Cito Caminha/bass - ex more bands from din Rio de Janeiro ex BUCOVINA, Florin Tibu "Buti" - BUCOVINA)The ideea was to prove that u can create death metal even in Romania, without using balcanic elements, but following the old school of American death metal.Later that year Slavian Simionas (Ex FUNEBRE) joined the band.After preparing the material for the first Vena Cava release in the winter of 2003-2004, the band goes in mai 2004 in the Glas Transilvan & StreamMusic studios where they record "The ORG", entirety self-produced by the band.The EP is released on 8th of May 2005 in Iasi (Live Surgery Concert).In november 2005, after the live performances for promoting the EP, Paolo Cito Caminha leaves the band & is replaced by Purice-Sandu Andrei-Vlad .January 28, 2007 ~ The vocalist Minel leaves the band.An official announcement is made on a few forums.End of march 2007 ~ The Bass player Purice-Sandu Andrei-Vlad leaves the band also.
