I have learnt that my actions have consequences and that gravity is a harsh mistress...

About Me

My name is Jess. I like long walks on the beach and pina coladas. I have an unhealthy taste for sarcasm and telling jokes that really aren't funny at all and result in a really awkward silence. I have this vague memory of previously having a personality and hobbies, but ever since I started that soul destorying thing called the HSC, I find myself being a burnt out shell of a person - interested only in the imaginative journey seen in The Tempest, the fall of the Roman Republic and the way carbon dioxide is carried in the blood. Actually, that's a bit of a lie. I still like a few things - like colourful bracelets, crazy stockings, nail polish, Cheaters, writing and receiving letters the old school way, reading psychology books and music. Racism and homophobia are not cool with me, so believe what you want, just please don't flaunt your prejudices in front of me. I'm such a teenage cliche...I always want to talk to new people, and learn other peoples point of view, so let's be friends! (please_?) - the end -

I'd like to meet:

everyone! just talk to meAlso, Amanda Palmer of The Dresden Dolls. Pretty much, I would like to meet people that don't end up hating me and trying to run me over with a shopping trolley because that just wouldn't be fun at all. Oh, and anyone that swallow knives, or breathe fire, or use a trapeze... you know, carnie folk... They're just fucking awesome... oh, ps - ask me about how Joel and I met Geoff Rickley (from Thursday) and gave him oversized underwear!!!

Music:

The Best:THE RED PAINTINGS The Dresden Dolls Silversun Pickups My Chemical Romance Thursday Death Cab For Cutie The Rest: A Perfect Circle | Kings of Leon | Taking Back Sunday | Straylight Run | Funeral For A Friend | Hellogoodbye | Jimmy Eat World | 36 Crazyfists | My Bloody Valentine | The Jesus And Mary Chain | Fall Out Boy | Hole | Veruca Salt | I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness | Kill Hannah | Muse | The Arcade Fire | The Birthday Massacre | Protest The Hero | The John Butler Trio | The Used | We Are Scientists | Wolf And Cub | etc etc etc.I also don't mind admitting that I have a soft spot for Aqua and Avril Lavinge... Is that wrong!? (Tell me 'Girlfriend' doesn't make you want to dance!) Support good Australain Bands!

Movies:

Cheap horror movies (especailly when I am watching them with Becky, Emma and Kelsie) can you say FRANKENFISH? and cheesy Vampire movies!

Television:

Cheaters... Joey Greco is the most compasionate man in history.

Heroes:

Stapler Man!!!
How did that get there? How awkward.... for me. Sam is really lame. He goes to Uni to learn how to form simple sentences, and he's very mean to me, which I don't think is entirely deserved. To quote him "You put the capital 'H' in 'whore'". What a loser! Oreos Saved My Life! And they continue to save it everyday with their sweet chocolate biscuit and cream filling... Oreos - The unsung heroes.... Becky, Kelsie, and Emma are my number one life related heroes. I know that if I ever have a problem and I need friends to rely on, that I can go to them.... and they will laugh their asses off at me and tease me forever. *sigh* That's true friendship...Everyone who has ever met my mother thinks she is pretty much the coolest person ever born. As Becky and Emma are constantly reminding me, even if I lived a thousand lives filled with coolness, I would never even approach her level of cool. She has the most amazing stalking talents - she has drank Eddie Vedder's (from Pearl Jam) wine and has been invited to have a beer with Nickelback - just to mention a few of her triumphs. Our living room is filled with band merch and she has selflessly devoted her life to honouring rock music... YOU WISH YOU COULD BE AS COOL AS MY MOTHER
