Established 2001 Kelapa Dua.Grindcore Ninja Commando Team was formed in early 2001 in Korigat, Jakarta. The goal of this grouping was to combine the experiments being conducted by the Salah Paham tactical media non-arts group with current Godshake ProPiracy Research. The result being a maximum interdisciplinary experience through a revived cybergrind-esque mechanism that was seen as lacking in the punk/hardcore scene at the time. The original lineup, while completing noise projects and experimentations alongside more structured, began working with the highly respected Teriak Records,from Depok,. It was on this label that GNCT released their first CD - TumorGanas"Nabi-nabi kardus." Recording was sloppy, but the fire was lit. Grindcore Ninja Commando Team had put a stake in the ground claiming allegiance to a new breed of ninja theory / noise/ grind / media activism.Commandos spent the next 3 months working on their first full leng originally released of TumorGanas in 2002 and later by Noise Bomb Sounds Recs and finally remastered and distributed by Propiracy in 2003. This was followed up with a release on Impalenta Records form Belgium; a split Tepa with Total Bangsat. This was the second release by Impalenta Records, a label that has grown tremendously in size and now serves as one of the premiere grind labels in the Indonesia. Commando was quick to release a first album CD & Tape on AK-47. This was another release for a record label that continues to gain recognition for their lineup. These releases then fed into several tours. The first tour was over a month long in the summer of 1998. GNCT was accompanied on this cooperative by Time Up Records. Then came a short winter Cooperative in 2000 with Constructivr Insurrection Records. Following this released, Commando began to write and record for a released CD with Noise Bomb Sounds also released through Tumor Ganas, as well as a 3 records CD Tumor Ganas. Tumor Ganas was more of a showcase of GNCT noise and experimental ability's than any of their previous work. Tumor Ganas came into being originally as a release by Inabsenti Records in 1999, until the release was bought by Noise Bomb Sound Records to gain better distribution. GNCTs second summer relesed was another month long Jakarta in the summer of 2003. In that same year, Commando went back into the distro to rereleased the album from Malefaction-Crush The Dream, released as a clear through Curihatiini Records in early 2003. It was in this year that Commando completed another small winter tour as well as a month long Jakarta released.In Jakarta, GNCT released for what would be there seminal Recorded to date, Split CD Tumor Ganas with Looking For An Answer.This release was self published in promotion form with 10 new Tumor Ganas songs, a complex array of noise grind, voiceovers by the international screenprinting critical theory group Urbanoir, and software constructed for an earlier Muke Gile Webzine project. This was the first release to inaugurate the newly formed GNCT portion of the organization. GNCT then relocated to Otista,East Jakarta. In August 2003, GNCT released a 3 noise grind only active for the group. In January,2004 Commando left Jakarta for a 5 month new project including 2 months tour in east java. Now, GNCT in work for new album for a future release on AK-47.GNCT currently resides in Kelapa Dua, Depok, and Otista. Their Destructivist shares time between GNCT and Sahaiman Kalamar. New project is being written slowly and GNCT is on hiatus from doing shows for the time being while they develop their new concepts.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
