"i" am liable to make the following distinction: "my" life = art project; "your" life = case study. stated rationale: solipsism. unstated rationale: desire to avert complication of analytical process/results.
explanation by way of fact: "my" sur"name" ("beretta") is spurious & superimposed on all creative work; desire to "die young" replaced by slow dissolution of persona (compromise). clarification: death wish thwarted by empathy for family and friends (suicide = romantic and appealing; all psychotropic medication increases suicidality - hypothesis: depressive realism), but "phillip beretta" is bound to disappear in a matter of months or years, likely to be replaced by sellout yuppie scum of birth name (see: driver's license, diploma, etc.) with shared (but aged) face and biomatter.
