About Me

Ferry Corsten Rockin' Out To "Let The World Fall Apart"
Born November 13, 1983, Adam Thomas Lane was destined to be a prodigy musician in life. At an early age, he began taking Piano lessons and playing recitals in front of large audiences. After his piano stage, he took up guitar, then clarinet, then drums, and continued to learn many other different instruments. Through life Adam evolved his musical tastes, opening himself up to all kinds of new worlds.
In the winter of 1998, Adam was exposed to trance music for the first time through Sacramento, California's former, premier dance channel, "Power 105.5 FM", while browsing through radio stations one night. Adam had grown such a passion for electronic music, that he searched high and low for varieties of dance CDs and electronic music on the internet. Eventually, Adam convinced himself that he had to learn to mix records because he loved the music so much.
Adam began performing under the alias "Wonderland", but changed it soon after the criticism from people that thought he was a happy hardcore deejay. He learned the basics of deejaying on a friend's pair of technic turntables, and grew out of his shell quickly to purchase his own turntables, a pair of Stanton STR8-60's. The first 12" track Adam had purchased was a classic by ATB, aka André Tanneberger, titled "Don't Stop" on Radikal Records. From there he built his collection of hundreds of records in all genres, consisting mainly of banging trance anthems.
In 1999, Adam came across a program called Techno Ejay and decided to learn how to produce the music that he loved so much. His music sounded pretty basic, as all beginning producers sounded, but he was never satisfied with the limitations the program had put on him. Later, Adam upgraded to a combination of sequencing programs and hardware to further exercise his love for writing and producing music. Adam is now producing advanced electronic singles and remixes in a few different local recording studios, including a small one of his own.
Finally, in 2004, Adam had decided it was time to and get his music heard and noticed, and not just by his close friends anymore. He finished his first major single, "Let The World Fall Apart [Around Me]", a single on which he chose to collaborate with the extremely talented and well known vocalist Jan Johnston. Currently, several major dance labels have taken notice of this up and coming artist and have taken quite an interest, as well as senior deejays playing Adam's latest work, live.
