Born in the small City of Chester in Pennsylvania, Johnelle has always had dreams of becoming a star She always says that she would used her fame to help make a change Singing since the tender age of three, Johnelle has always wanted to sing Singing in church is where she got her start 'When I was younger, I would sing in the choir at church and have my solos, but at that time, I considered it as something I did just to do I didnt really become serious about my music and singing until I was in high school So I would say around the age of 15 or 16' says Johnelle 'From there, I entered talent shows, sang at church, and so forth' Now at the age of 21, Johnelle wants a record deal SO bad and will not stop until she gets one Not only does she have the vocal ability and star quality, she has the writing skills to top it off With her fan base growing day to day from YouTube to Myspace to Imeem, she knows that she has what it takes 'Alot of my fan base began on YouTube with people from oversea and then the states I have had so many people say that I have inspired them and they look up to me because of my music and my kind and inspirational words That really means alot to me I want to be a role model for all the girls out there 'I know I have what it takes and I hope that you all will feel the same way as well' So keep your eyes and ears open, because pretty soon, JOHNELLE will be not only a household name, but a name said ALL AROUND THE WORLD
