Rei El Buzz

Rei El Buzz is a minimal, techno & house dj / producer / party promoter from Tel Aviv Israel. Since 1996 he's been involved in techno and electronic music. Starting in Jerusalem, he co-founded the "100 meters beneath the ground" collective, throwing the biggest and wildest raves around Israel. He then went on to found and resident the M1 techno parties in based in Tel Aviv hosting many djs from the global techno scene. Rei began producing his own music five years ago and has remained an established dj in the Tel Aviv scene since 2000. During 2004-5 he lived in Berlin and played in several main venues such as Tresor, SO36 and many more. Recently, on a return visit to Berlin, he was invited to play for the re-opening of Tresor and was given a warm welcome back into the Tresor family. Rei currently runs minimal parties in Tel Aviv under the line Exercise, together with 5 more dj friends, hosting the best local and international djs and preformers. He has also revived the M1 parties in Tel Aviv with close cooperation with the residents of Tresor. Rei's last 2 releases came out on 2 different compilations.. the first being the Redbull compilation called "undercurrents," while the second was released on the C-Sides festival compilation ... both received worldwide distribution. A few of his tracks also received national distribution as part of a 1 hr videomix which is dowloadable in almost every house in israel via cable TV V.O.D. His last Release on his label J.O.G - "Jumping on grenades " is currently distributed worldwide and being played on dancefloors around the globe. .. MySpaceScripts Profile Editor
