Born into a Brooklyn drug capitalized family who knew nothing but hustling to survive. Due to the choices and devastation of the burdens of life his mother led a life of self destruction. At the age of 11 Charlie Hustle held his mother in his arms in what he thought could only be a dream, “wake up†were the screams that could only be heard by him. His mother had lost the battle to struggling to provide for her son, dealing with her demons with drugs and addictions and finally succumbed to an overdose. Charlie Hustle was left a helpless boy filled with hopes and dreams of a better life to his grandmother who did all she could but could not take the pain that streamed in his veins and hardened his heart. With his mother now gone and his father lost to the streets he had no choice but to become who he was destined to be Charlie Hustle.
At this point it was time for Charlie Hustle to stand in his position as a loyal family member and began to take on the role of his father. A class “A†teacher of streets. He diligently took on the lead and became notorious for running the streets of Sunset Park and surrounding turf while pursuing a career in the HIP HOP industry. Indeed a leader and an entrepreneur. Charlie Hustle was unstoppable when he wanted something there was no turning back he met his goals. This road to riches was eventually encountered by the law, that is, and he was sentenced to prison for six years of his life. During the next year, Charlie Hustle returned to the rap game where he began to form a strong team who he knew believed in him maybe more than what he believed in himself. He worked closely with his comrades Icon “I SEE On†and Tone of Merciless Mob and began churning out mix tapes. The mix tape recording was hosted by DJ Whoo Kid titled “Promote Me Right†“Yea Yea Yea†(featuring Busta Rhymes), generated a significant buzz, attracting a lot of attention for its exciting energy and baiting lyrics. A great song but not hitting home to his inner being. The willingness to rap openly and honestly about his personal history adapted many listeners worldwide who are now loyal fans.
