About Me

I've had the opportunity to live and work in Galway, Ireland.I'm currently enjoying every minute of my stay out here until I arrive back to Dego! The world is more universal out here than it is back home. It should be like this all the time though, but we are really far away from everywhere and everyone else! Why don't we use the metric system for instance? Still trying to convert kilos into pounds, kcal into Calories, and Celcius into Fareinheit! I never really knew how cold it got out here, but probally minius '0! I'll miss the sounds of hearing different languages spoken everywhere! and the traditional Irish music too! Surprisingly there were bits of home I noticed out here, which I'm quite proud of. For instance they love Mexican food, but don't serve tostadas or sopes, and their ingredients, well...I give them credit for trying. Their Kebab shops out here are like the Taco shops from back home:-D The Indian food out here reminds me of Mexican food because it's hot and spicy! I never tried Indian food until I came out here, and it's quite tasty! And yes they call them Taco Fries instead of Carne Asada fries...still not the same though! So many changes I have endured out here and so much more of me that I never realized I had before! Never drank so much tea before and had yogurt for a snack, which is Sharpy and Sleepy! and never really dipped my chips (french fries) into vinegar before or mayonaise, instead of ranch dressing or ketchup. There's no A1 sauce for steak out here! And did I mention drinking? It's the Norm out here, and Rugby is the closet thing to American Football and still trying to get the gist of the game, and they love their football, aka soccer, and I definately want to see Beckham play when I come back home. What else? Oh and damn, you're able to purchase a beer at the movie theatres out here, which is Awesome! I'm saying Perhaps more instead of Maybe and Wicked more instead of Hella Cool:-D More to tell on my adventures out here as you can see....My favorite "Donnie Darko," shot. I see it as a self portrait, titled "Inside the looking glass!". Something I try to glorify in each passing day...
