Does anyone still read these? Just in case, I'm a dad (see picture to left). Life is great. I work too much, but that's just part of it I guess. I spend my free time with my beautiful wife, Sarah, our son, Will, and our family and friends.Is life what I always dreamed it would be? Of course not...it's way better! God has blessed with more than I ever dreamed of. Will is amazing. I'm a strong believer that God doesn't give us anything we cannot handle...and he must not have thought much of Sarah and me! That kid is so happy and has so much love and joy to share with the world. He amazes me every day. And my wife...don't even get me started...What am I doing? Five years ago, I thought I would have to work my fingers to the bone for a meager existence and was willing to do whatever it took. Now, I can't believe what my life is like. I have my master of accountancy, passed the CPA exam, and have a great job with PwC as a Senior Associate in Tax. Doesn't sound exciting, does it? I tell some people I'm a "Tax Consultant"...it's probably the best description of what I do. More often than not, I'm loaned out to companies to help their tax department do...something. I just tell everyone else I'm a CPA, they ask me about their personal taxes and I struggle to give them a shred of advice. (read: don't ask me for individual tax advice!)So that's about it. I put everything I can into everything I do everyday and sleep as well as my son at night. Does life get any better?
