I had the most amazing trip to China for the olympics. I was in four cities other than Beijing. Of course Beijing was all dressed up for the event; everything was modern and new. Surprisingly the other cities I visited were also very modern. It was impressive. Public transportation was so available. We went everywhere by public transportation and were never inconvenienced. I was at the Birdnest the night the men's 100 meter was run, walked out of there with 91,000 other people and stepped on the subway - no wait! The secret is to have lots of transportation available and people will take it. I read Beijing has 16,000 buses in its municipal fleet! And, every one I saw looked brand new. That country is rich with our money, making everything, everything we buy. Please, if you own a factory, own it here in the USA.
