R.I.P. Sarah Davis The person who encouraged and nurtured my love of horror films. I was host of "The Haunted Theatre." But all good things must come to an end. All images and names on this page are copyrighted to me, Halloween Jack, and Under Your Bed Productions. Here are a few things that conjure up memories of my favorite Halloweens. Boy, they don't do it like this anymore. But then again, I'm sure my children will be saying that 30 years from now.
This is the show I watched growing up. Chiller Theatre didn't have a host, but in the pre-VCR days, it provided me with my fix of monster films and brought to life all those pics that I used to pour over in the pages of Famous Monsters. This show introduced me to the world of "B" horror, such as "The Horrible Dr. Hichcock," The Killer Shrews" and "The Day The World Ended." Also minor classics such as "The Tingler," "Dr. X" and "Black Sunday."

Chiller Theatre There was also "Creature Features" on WNEW channel 5 in NY, way before it became Fox. It did have a short lived host named "The Creep." "Creature Features" was a little more "upscale" than "Chiller," showing all the Universal classics. Ahhh, the thrill of discovering "Dracula," "Frankenstein" and "The Mummy" all for the first time! To learn all about "The Creep" as well as a whole bunch of other Horror Hosts, including yours truly, go to the wondeful site... Egor's Chamber of TV Horror Hosts These were the days!
