Evolve

Evolve are now in their sixth year. Formed in 2003 as a four and later a five-piece band they perform original tracks together with popular contemporary rock and Indie covers, which are well received by their audiences. Evolve have an energetic stage presence, a live gig always leaves the audience wanting more, and more they are able to give!2006 was a busy year for the band. Their first studio session resulted in Evolve releasing an EP entitled ‘City Boys’ in March. ‘City Boys’ received airplay on BBC Merseyside and Radio Wales. Evolve entered and won ‘BBC New Talent Contest Wales’ 2006. Evolves’ second EP 'The Future's History' recorded late November featured a number of new tracks written by the band, which were sure to please their expanding fan base. The new material shows a level of maturity above and beyond that expected from a young band. In July 2007 Geraint left the band to continue his academic career at Cardiff University, this left the band in desperate need of finding some one just as talented as himself. Their search eventually found Jamie an extremely talented musician, who will enhance the bands performance. With the welcoming of new bassist Jamie, Evolve entered another battle of the bands competition and won.
