Welcome to the wonderful world of the award winning youth marketing agency UPROAR UNLTD.
With our fingers firmly on the pulse we get bums on seats, people through doors and consumers looking and engaging with YOUR brand in new ways.
Times are tough with the current financial climate, so we thought it about time we started shouting a little louder about the work we do to raise brands above the noise, stretch their marketing pound and provide tailored marketing campaigns which take brands directly to the people they want to talk to.
Nothing says UPROAR louder than the work we do, so here’s a little sneak at what we’ve been up to recently.
Let young people have their say!
The www.itdoesnthavetohappen.co.uk Home Office anti knife crime campaign is coming up to its second year. We started 2009 with a second workshop which brought together young people from all around the country who’ve been affected by knife crime to help shape the campaign. Who knows the issues involved better than them, and it was an amazing day of creativity and fun which shows if you give young people a chance, they’ve got a lot to say, and they don’t mince their words!
Alize’s 21st
We’re still recovering from Alize, the French spirit’s, 21st birthday club tour Alize Remixed. We partied across Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds and London with some of the UKs finest new DJ talents. UPROAR on Being Carlie Sloth
If you love Hip Hop but haven’t heard of Charlie Sloth then you’re missing more than a few tricks. Charlie is the first UK rapper to have a regular video on the world’s biggest Hip Hop website www.worldstarhiphop.com and is set for big things in 2009. Check out ‘Being Charlie Sloth’ on youtube and you might just catch the Uproar team in cameo in his fantastically funny films starring Charlie Sloth which are produced, edited and directed by Charlie on the life of an independent artist.
The Dragon is in town
We’re getting set to launch the second wave of ad creatives for Wanis’ Tropical Sun and Jamaica Sun Afro-Caribbean foods range. We were privileged to have some time with the amazingly talented Japanese artist Dragon, who painted an amazing mural, which formed the separate pieces of artwork for the poster campaign which really captures the Afro-caribbean authenticity of the Tropical Sun foods range. Keep an eye out for the posters which will be appearing at a bus stop near you very soon.
That's all for now, so until next month, love you long time!
