Singer-songwriter, E. B. Fay, has been honing his craft for the past 30 years in clubs and coffeehouses in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. In the early days, Mr. Fay shared stages with such notable artists as the Pousette-Dart Band, a Boston band that achieved moderate success in the 1980s, the New Riders of the Purple Sage, the country-rock forerunners of Wilco, England Dan Seals, along with a number of other bands from the New England region. In the past, he has headlined festival shows in Northampton and Hyannis, MA. while working on new material. HIS NEW COLLABORATION WITH, The Full Moon Revue, "ONE LAST SHOT," is now out and available at: www.fullmoonrevue.com.
Drawing from scenes in his many travels and facets of life, Fay offers a catchy, personal view of the world that is right-in-line with the thoughts of millions of others in these uncertain times. His most recent work has been with the critically acclaimed band, The Full Moon Revue. FMR has received airplay and plaudits from 46 states in the U.S. and from Vancouver, Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba provinces in Canada. FMR has even received some overseas interest and it continues as an on-going project for Fay and his colleagues. Fay has also appeared with such distinguished artists as Robin Lane, Jonathan Edwards, Chris Smither, George Gritzbach and Jamie Brockett in such diverse places as along the Canadian/American border, miles into the woods in Pennsylvania and on ships-at-sea in rough water and weather. In his solo work, Mr. Fay relies on new friends and those he has played with for the past 35 years or so to craft incisive and cutting-edge lyrics with and edgy, pop-type feel. Brian is about to begin recording a CD of original material with some members of FMR along with new players and is rehearsing with FMR, looking to play in New England in 2009. The band is booking dates, right now, so, if you'd like FMR on YOUR schedule, or playing at YOUR event, this summer, contact us at the number below--we'd love to play for you!
