1794 Meetinghouse, Inc., exists to maintain and preserve the historic building and to engage, educate, and entertain the citizens of the North Quabbin and the wider area. In pursuit of these goals, the Meetinghouse is responsible for necessary work on the building, presents a summer performance series and an annual outdoor, all-day MusicFest, and sponsors the Quabbin Valley Pro Musica (a community chorus) and educational programs throughout the year. In recent years, work on the building has included a steeple renovation, shutter replacements, and a new paint job. We have presented nearly 40 performances in each of the past two summers, spanning theatre, film, and nearly every imaginable type of music, performed by a range of talented artists, some local, some with a broader following, and some - Paul Winter, Patty Larkin - nationally and internationally recognized.
