About Me

Hi everyone!I will be putting tracks from my debut album up within the next few months. Even though I have recorded albums in the past I have not done anything with them. This has been my own fault. A mixture of laziness and looking beyond the present. I will be releasing this album. I will have dates and tunes on my myspace in the next few months and I will try to play gigs everywhere and anywhere I can.In order for me to do this I will need your help. If you know of any venue that I can play in or know of anyone that might be interested in my music PLEASE pass on the details. If you like any of tunes as I download them let me know. I might even send you on a free download of that tune. Thanks and keep checking my myspace for details!!!!!!!!!!!!Richie You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !Reviewed by www.musicreviews.com'HERE IS A REVIEW OF SOME TRACK'S FROM THIS ARTIST RICHIE mcCOY HE SURE CAN CRAFT AND COMBINE GREAT MELODIES TOGETHER WITH SOME EXCELLENT LYRICS.HOLDING ONHere is a nice blend of melodies in this tune you got some folk with a hint of some country blue's, vocal's flow across the song giving it a nice easy listening sound.COLUM'S SONGThis is a real good moving tune with a real good bass drum rhythm holding a tidy beat down, the vocal's are laid down with great passion to them they really give the song a great lift with there folk rock feel.STAYYou can really here a country element in this tune, the vocal's sound great when they kick in giving the song real commercial potential, catchy chorus and great lyrics.review by T.HalpinSTAR RANK: ****** ROCKSTAR'

Band Members: Richie McCoy: Richie is from Limerick, Ireland and is a lover of accoustic music. He studied classical flute from the age of 7 right through to the age of 25. He is a self thought guitar player which gives him is own style and originality when playing. He also plays, Trombone, all 4 recorders, piano and even had a spell on bagpipes. He enjoys going to gigs as much as he does playing them.Jodine McCoy: Jodine is Richie's sister also from Limerick and has been studying music since the age of 5 and has just finished her degree in Music from UCC. She has played violin in nearly every style at this stage including classical, country, traditional, bluegrass and rock. She is also accomplished on piano and has had a small amount of time playing traditional Irish flute.Nick Carswell: A very well known musician and a songwriter himself Nick has been playing anything he can find since he could breath. Falling in on Piano, Guitar, Bass and vocals with Richie, Nick has made himself a valuable member to this group. Especially since he's the best utility musician to have ever walked and can play anything just on asking.Blaine Mackessy: Currently studying under Michael O'Sullibhan in the University of Limerick Blane's piano accordian playing is what brings a certain unique sound to Richie's songs. Swapping with Nick from time to time Blane also falls in on Piano when needed and only needs one listen to add a rift.Paddy O'Halloran: Paddy is the legend of the band. Richie and Paddy first met doing trad sessions in Adare in County Limerick. Also involved was Blaine. Paddy plays percussion and is self thought which gives him a unique style which Richie likes. The two play well together and have always enjoyed playing together.
