About Me

THE EVOLUTION OF HIP HOP...
Hip Hop Artist Smoove immigrated with his family from Seoul, Korea to Queens, New York at the age of 4. It would not be for another several years until he would identify and choose his path in music through Hip Hop.
Although a fan of rap since childhood, Smoove never considered rapping until he found himself listening to Tupac Shakur's posthumous releases over and over again. "I started freestyling out of nowhere behind His tracks. It was a trip. I realized that anything really is possible." Smoove has found freedom in his passion for rhyming. "Hip Hop has been the best friend I have ever had. It has always been there for me."
His style is unassuming while spiritual. His mellifluous tone and rhyme create a synergetic flow uncommon in Hip Hop today. His lyrical imagery paints Picasso like portraits of social plights and assumptions.
If you think that Smoove does not have the skill to be challenged, be prepared for a verbal assault. The ethnical oddity of this rapper is not a gimmick or hoax. It is the personification of Hip Hop's altered reflection. What you thought Hip Hop was, is nothing more than a theoretical illusion.
Smoove writes and produces his own brand of music. "It's what i love to do, it's not work for me. It's like each of my songs is a beloved woman. I'm in love with each of them and would do anything to see them fly".
"The truth is, nobody knows what's gonna happen tomorrow. The guy in the suit could wind up on the street, and the guy on the street could be in a suit, so I keep the faith."
The culmination of a journey and a glimpse into the future .
"Who do you believe in..."
