Bridging The Gap Urban Ministries

About Me

We are an urban ministry that uses step, mime, hip-hop dance, spoken word and rap to preach the gospel of Jesus. And soon we look to have breakdancers and an urban worship/soul band. We are college students that minister all over the east coast, and wherever we are called. If you would like to contact us please e-mail us at: [email protected] .

BTGUM Mission Statement
The mission of Bridging The Gap Urban Ministries is to win souls for our heavenly Father (Matt. 28:19), to bring rest to the heavy laden (Matt. 11:28), deliverance to the bound (Isaiah 61:1), and healing to the sick (Isaiah 53:5). We also aspire to bring God’s people (young and old) to a higher understanding of Him and His will for their life (Isaiah 55:9-11), and to use the anointing that the Lord has endowed us to break every yolk formed by the enemy (Gal. 5:1).

FAQ's
What are your beliefs?
We believe in the trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. We believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God, spoken by Him to man so that it may be witten. We believe in the layin on of hands to heal the sick. And we also believe that the Lord can use anyone and anything He decides to minister to His people, hence our mediums of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ (step, rap, hip hop dance, etc.)
Where do you primarily minister?
We have had ministry engagments as far south as Georgia, as far west as Kentucky, and as far north as Pennslyvannia. So any place that we are called to go we go.
Can I have only one group if I choose?
Yes.

How much do you charge?
We do not charge any flat rates. We only require that you cover and/or provide transportation to and from the even, and if we must stay over night we require that you handle lodging. Also if the trip is over night we ask that you provide the ministry with at least one meal, and we ask that some sort of love offering be taken up (this does not have to be a specific amount, but at least $100 would be nice, lol.)
We do allow our members to stay at "host homes" so it can cut down the cost of having to pay hotel fees (we have over 20 members at all times, so you would be talking at least 4 hotel rooms).

Please feel free to get @ us either here on Myspace or at our e-mail address if you require additonal information. May the Lord continue to bless you and keep you. Grace and Peace.
Here is our promo video so you see what we look like in action. We will have a longer one up soon.
