My daughter and I are extremely close and she comes first in everything I do. I love her more than life itself.
Of course, I love my son more than life as well, but he is no longer at home. As a matter of fact, he just moved to Arizona. I miss him terribly but he is working on growing up and taking big steps so I want to be supportive of that.
I work hard and long. Too hard and long. I am in radio. I AM on air (everybody asks) but I am operations manager which means my responsibilities go well beyond the few hours you hear my voice each day.
I am creative in my ideas and one of my biggest faults is I try to have too many irons in the fire.
I believe attitude is everything.
You should always do what is right, even when it is not convenient.
I believe in the Bible's teaching "Love others as yourself" but have to work on loving myself as much as I love others.[Another of my biggest faults is that I am much harder on myself than others. Chances are I will forgive YOU before I accept ME]
I am MOM to dozens of teenagers...I often have teens hanging out at my house and they often text or call me for advice and support and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Yes I said TEXT. I am a texting junkie! Most of the time I prefer texting because I am a multi-tasker and I can text and do other things at the same time. Thank God they came up with unlimited family plans! I DO have to take my cell phone everywhere and I am crushed that I lost so many numbers when my phone was stolen. [It was tragedy to be without a phone, let alone lose the numbers too]. Chances are if I haven't called or texted you in the last three months that I no longer have your number...so if you want me to have it..send it. PLEASE!
