View Lost in the Media's EPKHEY, IF THE SLIDESHOW BELOW DOESN'T RUN, PLEASE HIT YOUR REFRESH BUTTON!!.. Lost in the Media was formed in 2005 by Chas Perry and Bailey Wilson. At a very young age (10-12), these lifetime friends knew they had a love for music and expressed it by pretending they were performing for fans on the front porches of their South Carolina homes. Several years later while jamming with their guitars and drums, they decided to add Alex Tye as lead guitar then followed up with their bass player to complete the Band. From that point, they worked on writing their own material for almost a year and were invited into a studio to practice and work on their style as well as continue to write. They worked hard for several months until their parents felt they had things nailed down. In November 2006, they went into a Recording Studio to record their first CD. On April 10, 2007, they played their first live show and released their CD (to a sold out audience of 750+). Since that time, they have been playing live and opening up for many National Recording Artist such as Hootie and The Blowfish, Madina Lake, FightStar, Badfish and several others. They went on their own Wild Wings Café’ Summer Tour in 2007 playing some 20 shows in a month, then it was back to school for these Awesome High School Junior Rockers. In late 2008, they brought in a new bassist, Danny Benny, who has come in and fits like a glove. They continue to write and play live shows at various locations throughout the Carolinas and are looking forward to getting back into the recording studio for their next CD.BAND MEMBERS are:Chas Perry: lead vocals, rhythm guitarBailey Wilson: drums, back-up vocalsAlex Tye: lead guitar, back-up vocalsDanny Benny: bass guitar ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------- Chas Perry (lead vocals- backup rhythym guitar)- Chas is the creator/writer of most of LITM's songs. He has a love for life and includes those feelings and experiences in his works. When he is not writing, practicing or going to school, he loves to ride his dirtbike as often as he can. He is also a Platoon Cheif in ROTC and always looks forward to helping people any way he can. When asked what is his DREAM IN LIFE, HIS ANSWER WAS "I AM LIVING MY DREAM NOW WITH LITM AND LOVING EVER MINUTE OF IT". Chas is the MIND of LITM........................Alex Tye (backup vocals- lead guitar)- Alex is the SOUL of LITM... Sometimes when he is playing, it's sort like he goes into a trance, closes his eyes and just goes for it. Besides Alex's love for LITM, he's crazy about surfing. Most any day if he's not in The Cave working on a new riff, you can bet he's at the beach surfing. When asked what he wants to do in life, Alex says "I'M NOT SURE BUT I KNOW IT WILL HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH MUSIC"... We know that to be true!! .............................Bailey Wilson (drums)- Bailey is the HEART of LITM... He is such a TIGHT DRUMMER... THE BEST!! Bailey was 7 years old when he decided to play the drums and he hasn't looked back since. In fact, Bailey and Chas started playing and writing music on Chas front porch at the age of 9. After taking years of lessons from Islander Chris Russell (Bailey says he's the best), Bailey and Chas started jamming and things grew from there. Bailey second love is surfing. If he's not practicing his drums in The Cave, he's at the beach trying to get in the BARRELL... What does Bailey want to do in the future?? "JUST WHAT I AM DOING WITH LITM AND TO ALWAYS HAVE FUN DOING IT", he says!! And when he plays, you can see he's having the TIME OF HIS LIFE....................................... LITM has found the right communation for adding the BODY to an already rocking BAND (MIND, HEART AND SOUL)... Denny Benny is the right fit for our MIND, HEART and SOUL... He loves to ROCK and is learning more of our songs everyday. What a great addition to an already Rocking Group!! Until he is up and running on everything, we are fortunate to have one of the BEST MUSICIANS in this region to be with us and he is the MOST AWESOME DUDE we have every played with and that's DARRYL HORNE... We welcome him and his experience and knowledge to our Band and he is welcome to be with us anytime...So there you are... The perfect match for a totally tight group of ROCKERS!! MIND, BODY, HEART AND SOUL... THINGS COULDN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS.... IT'S ALL GOOD!!!!ROCK ON, LOST IN THE MEDIA...<
