About Me

For those who have forgotten or just don't know, my name is Paula. I have been married for seven and a half years and have two wonderful children and three gorgeous step daughters. My husband is a talented and blessed musician who has rubbed off on my boys. Both of my children are always singing, dancing, playing the drums, piano or whatever else allows them to release their new found talents. Thank you for stopping by, make sure you leave a comment and be bessed in 2008!!

My Interests

..

I'd like to meet:

Old friends, new friends, real people...

Music:

Gospel, R&B, Hip Hop (artists who have been around for a while...non of this new stuff talkin about a bunch of nothing), and Jazz (check out my husbands music page).

Movies:

These are not in any particular order, but I did just watch a few of them so they are fresh in my head. The Notebook, 50 First Dates, Raising Helen, One Fine Day, Love Jones, Love and Basketball, Just Married, Head of State, The Wedding Date...pretty much romantic comedies or just plan 'ole tear jerkers (sad, happy, or fall out your chair laughing type of tears). I also like National Treasure and can't wait to see the sequel, The Bourne movies and looking foward to that sequel as well...I like documentaries, and the list will keep on going since I'll watch anything once and if I like it I'll go back to it.

Television:

NFL Football (even arena), all Law and Orders new and old no matter how many times I've seen them. The same thing goes for the TNT am/pm line up of ER, Judging Amy (very upset that it was cancelled). My husband got me hooked on 24, Sleeper Cell and Entorauge. And I just got into Dexter. I like movies and shows with the who did it plot like CSI and Crossing Jordan.

Books:

Heatseakers, Shame On It All and Afterburn by Zane, Things I Thought I'd Never Do by Pearl Cleage, God Don't Like Ugly and God Still Don't Like Ugly very good, That Faith, That Trust, That Love and I am currently reading Experiencing God's Presence.

Heroes:

The late Gail Carpenter (mom), The late Pamela Harper (step mother), The late Pauline Williams (grandma), The late Jacque Fairfax (dad)...YOU sacrificed, you tried your best your struggles were my struggles and they made me stronger...JOB WELL DONE!

What a day I had!

What a day this has been.  It all started at about midnight when my youngst woke up throwing up all over my bed.  That went on until about 4am and I was finally able to some sleep ...
