I am NORTHORN LIGHTS, one of the founding members of The Surrealest/ Surreal Music. A Portland OR born emcee, throughout my lifetime I have lived all over the state. I am currently residing back in my hometown of SE Portland. You can probably find me at any given open mic in Portland if you're looking hard enough, or at a show with fellow Surrealest memebers Bad Habitat. It has been said that I have a knack for freestyling, although I do write verses too. In addition, I make beats a little on the side as well. Plus I'm not too shabby of a beat boxer, have basic graff writing skills, and can do a front handspring like nobody's business. Basically I'm trying to mold myself into the living embodiment of hip-hop.
I am currently working on my debut album "The A-Thorn-a Borealis EP". No release date is set yet but check back often for updates and new songs.
