Started on guitar at age 8. Played in a family band for a few years. Went out on the road professionally @ 13 with Cousin Wilbur out of Nashville.
Played R&R,Blues,Country for many years. Then stumbled onto Bluegrass.Played with Southern Blend for a year.Then got a call from J.D. Crowe in ..86.Recorded 2 projects with J.D., the double grammy nominated "Flashback & highly acclaimed " Come On Down To my World".Stayed with Crowe from then til 2000 when we started Wildfire which is where I am now.
