hmmm, about me....I am a marketing and graphic design director of my company RubiStarr Designs. I love traveling and experiencing new things. Being inspired by the beauty around me. So far I have been to almost all 50 states a number of times and spent 6 months in Italy. I still need to make it to Alaska and would go back to Italy in a heartbeat! I speak Italian. Or at least I have a survivor’s knowledge of the language since I just went there and learned by being around the people. Such a beautiful language! My heritage is mostly Italian. There is a city in Sicilia (Sicily) with my last name! My mom and I traveled there together. One of my favorite memories is hiking to the top a volcano island called stromboli at night and watching it erupt with the full moon and stars above!
I lived for three years without running water and electricity when I was younger and spent whole summers camping out. I went to college for graphic design and business and moved to Hawaii. I traveled to the big island and hiked above the cloud layer to watch the sunrise and did a night hike out to watch the lava explode into the sea. I also love Kauai were I hiked 11 miles away from "civilization" along the cliffy coast to camp out in a secluded beach and shower in a waterfall. I still need to swim with dolphins but did do an underwater photo shoot swimming with sea turtles. They are so graceful and friendly! I just started learning how to bellydance and try to go out dancing as often as possible. I design, make, and sell jewelry and play the hammer dulcimer.
