Eisenbergs Skatepark is a home for rollerbladers, skateboarders and bikers. The skatepark was opened in 1997 by the family of Inline Street X Games Gold Medalist, Arlo Eisenberg. Eisenbergs' goal was not just to create a state-of-the-art skating facility, but also to provide a safe skating environment for skaters of all skill levels. Eisenbergs Skatepark pioneered the concept of the skatepark as a full-service entertainment venue, complete with viewing areas for friends and family, arcade games, a snack shop and lounge area and a fully stocked retail/pro shop. Eisenbergs model has been imitated many times, but no other facility has been able to match the personal service and family atmosphere of the original Eisenbergs Skatepark. Eisenbergs features live music every week and also hosts a camp for skateboarders, bikers and rollerbladers every summer. Each October Eisenbergs hosts the annual Hoedown Weekend which always attracts the best rollerbladers from all over the world and is considered one of rollerblading's most prestigious events.
