Assedium

About Me

Assedium was born in the beginning of 2004 with the purpose of playing pure epic heavy metal inspired by Cirith Ungol, Omen, Manilla Road, Virgin Steele and old Manowar. After about one year of rehearsals, concerts and one demo called "Far From The Light", they sign with My Graveyeard Productions and start working on new songs, creating the basis of their first album. Singer Marco leaves the band in April 2006, and the band finds its man in Luca "Fils" Cicero, formerly in Deceptor and Fallen Fuckin' Angels. With Fils, they record the "Rise Of The Warlords" album, play live in Greece at the Up The Hammers fest, land support for Omen, Dark Quarterer, Onslaught, Piledriver and Sacred Steel, play together with friends Battle Ram, Rain, Berserker, Fallen Fuckin' Angels, Twilight Zone and Aeternal Seprium and have their moment of glory playing at the first edition of Play It Loud festival (featuring amongst the others Raven, Crying Steel, Blitzkrieg, Skanners, Battleroar, Ironsword etc.) In December 2007 they record their new effort, ten brand new warlike tunes that will be known as "Fighting For The Flame" and soon released on My Graveyard Productions. We invite all of you true metalheads out there to participate to our gigs, not just for the music, but for the pleasure of drinkin' a beer or more with guys that share with you the pure love for HM sound! We are not businessman or professors, we are heavy metal fans like you all out there, and the only thing we want is bringing back the sound of ancient glory through the burning words of epic HM. Join us!ASSEDIUM PLAY ONLY TRUE EPIC METAL, FOR THE ONES WHOSE HEART STILL BEATS AT THE SOUND OF SIX STRING AXES AND DRUMS OF WAR. MAY YOUR SWORD SPILL COUNTLESS LIVES IN BATTLE!
