About Me

You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit; and that your fruit should remain. And whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give it to you.” -St John 15:16
Tiffany Riddick (nee Marshall) is a southern born, northern bred vocalist who first performed publicly at the tender age of 3 years old. At the age of 9, she received a standing ovation from an otherwise ruthless crowd in a local talent show. It was then that her family realized where the young artist’s path would lead. After relocating to Newark, New Jersey, Tiffany’s family ensured that she be a consistent and active member of her church, Tabernacle Baptist Church. She would later become one of the co-founders for the church’s Youth and Young Adult choirs and operate in the role of Minister of Music for the church.
As a teenager, Tiffany was a founder and soloist of Unified Praise, a local gospel ensemble. Practicing daily after school, the group became widely known and celebrated in their community and surrounding areas. As some of the group’s older members moved on to college, the group slowly dissolved. Following the group’s demise, Tiffany was co-founder of yet another local gospel group, Sisters in Praise. She remained with the group for two years until leaving college. Attending Morgan State University (Baltimore, Maryland) on a full music scholarship, she had the opportunity to travel around the world as a member and soloist with the world renowned Morgan State University Choir under the direction of the late Dr. Nathan Carter.
Throughout her college years, Tiffany also explored several R&B pursuits. In 1998, she aligned with two local singers and formed the R&B group, On Point. On Point was presented with three major label opportunities within a year, but due to internal management conflict, neither materialized. In 1998, the group was featured with MCA recording artists K-Ci & Jo-Jo on the remix version of “Fee Fie Foe Fum” from their 1999 album release “It’s Real”. Shortly afterward, the group disbanded and went their separate ways. Tiffany would go on to perform as a recurring background vocalist for various major recording artists including Beyoncé Knowles, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Nelly, Kenny Loggins, Michelle Williams, Donnie McClurkin, Carl Thomas, Avant, Mya, Cheryl Pepsi Riley, and Melonie Daniels.
Tiffany has worked diligently at honing her talents and experience as a vocalist, songwriter, producer and actress. Currently, she is in the process of working on her tentatively untitled debut release. She also performs as a background vocalist for Beyoncé and is currently traveling with her on The Beyonce Experience 2007 World Tour.
