As of July 13th, 2008, we lost a hero. My cousin Marvin Marr was a navy man who lost his life on the 13th of July. He was a good outgoing person who shouldn't have lost his life at a early age. Let me tell u a lil more about him. He was 30 years old and a great person. He had a wonderful personality and would give u the shirt off of his back. He served in the Navy for 7 years and has been to Iraq 3 times, he also been to Australia, Thiland, China, Hawaii, Spain and many other places. He loved to have fun and make u laugh. We all called him a class clown cuz he'd do something stupid to make u smile. He always had Taylor and Bubba with him. He would pick them up and take them out to get Ice Cream. The kids loved him to death and Bubba was always ready to follow his Uncle Marvin. Marvin was always the outdoors type of guy and u could never get him to stay inside for very long. Marvin had meet a homeless man one time and the man didn't have any shoes, so Marvin took his off and gave them to the homeless man. Marvin was a kind man and so free spirited. He also lived his life to the very fullest. He would stick up for any of his friends and family. That was just the kind of guy Marvin was. But now we must lay him down to rest. Due to him riding a fast 4-wheeler and crashing it. Marvin will sadly missed and he'll be loved forever. He'll always be in our thoughts and hearts. So please pray for our family and the men and women in the services. If u have a love one off in the services my prayers are with u.
