** no offense. But seriously. He has bad taste and etiquette.
also former member:
Jim Macur - lead guitar, classical guitar*
Influences: Almond is on record saying he is influenced by Ray Manzareck, Billy Preston and Paul McCartney. He also enjoys a good Led Zeppelin record becuase of John Paul Jones.
Jeremy likes some stupid stupid music. Like Bernstein. And TMBG. And computer music in general. Yikes.
The Jim Macur (former lead-style guitar player for Almond) likes classical guitar music and thinks that both the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" and Pink Floyd's "The Wall" have epic guitar moments. [ed. note: Almond disagrees. He says Faith No More has "Epic" guitar moments.]
YOU MAY BE ASKING yourself "What do the other guys like?"
And I will tell you this, they suck at doing interviews so they are poorly represented on this page at the moment! Keep checking back, maybe one day they will return this writer/music fan's phone calls.
Sounds Like: Hard to describe, but often times Almond likes to finish a song off with a good "Awwww...."
Possibly american traditional rock... putting traditional blues, country and R&B influences in a Rock format... what do you peeps think?
Just so's you know, Almond is the Zorro of the Ivory Keys.
Type of Label: Major
