BOOYAKA!! Big up to Tribal Harmonix and the West Coast Crews, and shout outs to tha' East in da belly of da beast.
Hey Y'all thanks for coming by my site!!I and I, Alec "Riddim" Fernandez, was born in St. Mikes Barbados, raised in Toronto and now reside in Squamish, British Columbia. I was surrounded by music early in life as my father was a gifted guitar/harmonica/keyboard player - sometimes playing all at once, the keys with his toes!I began in music with my trusted handdrum and progressed into drum machines and then to record players... and now after DJing for several years I've taken the next logical step and started to make my own music.

"Deep IRIE BLUE" is my first original album and was released on Halloween 06, with a single being put onto a Tribal Harmonix Compilation CD - Dub A Lub.
The second album was completed Spring 2007 and is called "DOWN POUR".
A live mix was released in Summer 2008 entitled "Riddim Mix Numba 5".
And now a new remix album is available as "Riddim Remixes".
"Sweet, Sweet Reggae Music" was released several years ago and a mix or classic dancehall tracks recorded for my cousins back in Barbados.
Please get in touch for a copy - all original artwork and original music.I've been super fortunate to find a gifted French MC (from the Jamatonics) that will be adding his lyrics to the songs - wow, it should be super duper. Please let me know what you think about the music! Please let me know if you'd like a copy and i can get one into your hands - and the music into your head.
Have an IRIE DAY!

Music:

Band Members: me, myself, and i... and also two new part time additions: MC Kid le MIC and Miriam on the microphone
Influences: All things in hip hop during the 90s: Tribe, Pharcyde, Souls of Mischief... into J5, Common, Talib, etc.Love the Soul sound and the Funk vibe. Also really into jungle and all things dark - from Amon Tobin to BlueTech.Lately have been loving the 110-120bpm beats, enough to get you groovin but also chill enough to lounge to.
Sounds Like: A big mix between dancehall, hiphop, jungle, and most recently breakz... all things phat and dubby.
