About Me

Band Bio: (Jim)I was born on 8-22-75 in Afton. My father was amazed at the massive size of my member, and freaked out when the doctor asked him to cut it. It was later explained that that was the imbilical cord. My first band was in 1994 and was called Delta Nine. We played Rush and Primus covers, as well as originals. I then played in a band called Sauce that played some Delta Nine original songs, as well as various covers by 311. In 1997 I played in an original indie-rock band (now adays it would probably be referred to as ""emo") called Raina No Reply. In 1999 I graduated from the University of Missouri, and began playing in a band called SPY that played around St. Louis and Illinois as far as Chicago. It was very heavy into Phish and improvisational jamming. My main influences are Geddy Lee, Chris Squire, Les Claypool, and Mike Gordon. Best concert I ever saw was a Phish 2000 new years show in Big Cypress, FL. My wife's name is Melissa and my dog's name is Maiya. So let it be written, so let it be done........................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ .(Mitchell T's Bio:) In 1969 Mitchell T moved to St. Louis before playing with B. Keithly a year later and returning back to Kwood. In the early part of the decade he ran a juke house, complete with gambling, moonshine, a jukebox and live music courtesy of Mitchell T himself. In the Summer of 1970 Lake came to Kwood Missiori, on behalf of the Risky Whiskey Records to record various blues garage musicians. "He brought his stuff down and recorded me right in my house," Mitchell T recalled in Rolling Stone, "and when he played back the first song I sounded just like anybody's records. Man, you don't know how I felt that Saturday afternoon when I heard that guitar and it was my own. Later on he sent me two copies of the pressing and a check for twenty bucks, and I carried that record up to the corner and put it on the jukebox. Just played it and played it and said, `I can do it, I can do it.'" Lake came back again in July of 1971 to record Mitchell T again. Both sessions were eventually released as Down On Lake's Farm on the Old Crow label....................................................... ............................................................ ............................................................ ................................................(Jamie's Bio:) I am a firefighter/paramedic who poses as a drummer from time to time. I have been playing for about 12 years but didn't start taking lessons until just a few months ago. My first influences were Niel Peart and Eric Yacula. My biggest influences now are Brett Voelker, Steve Gadd and Kris Myers. My musical influences are of a very wide variety, but lately I've been listening to a lot of Umphrey's McGee, Queens of the Stone Age and Paul Simon. My other interests include playing hockey and playing poker....................................................... ............................................................ ............................................................ ....................................................

Sounds Like: We are a unique cover band. (oxymoron?) We play a very wide variety of music, staying within the genre of Rock n' Roll. Some bands we cover are Pink Floyd, Phish, GD, Primus, Zep, ABB, Pixies, Beatles, Death Cab, Weezer, Uncle Tupelo, The Who, Pearl Jam, Police, Zappa, and many moe... er, more. When we formed, our intention was to play songs that we enjoyed that you wouldn't hear on the radio all the time. So you might hear a ZZ Top song, but not one that's been overplayed to death. We also add elements of improv/jam throughout our songlist.
