I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a happily married high school English teacher & adjunct college instructor living in a quiet Central New York town on Lake Ontario. I have a generous, loving wife, two beautiful Siamese cats and struggle to keep up with the demands of my weird (but lovable) old house. I am an aesthete and an eclecticist--meaning it's easier for me to address the paucity of things that I DON'T like (as opposed to my myriad passions)! I'm politically anarcho-socialist-green-liberal and most definitely 'independent,' a religious experimentalist currently manifesting as a Zen lunatic, open-minded specific to gender (though hetero-monogamous, I respect poly-, pan-, and transsexuality as the equals of heterosexuality), and a weird mix of hypercritical-nihilist and goofy-naive-optimist.

Howard Zinn, Viggo Mortensen - "A People's History of American Empire"
