Conflict became a true fan of Hip Hop music at the age of 10 in 1993. His music career started at age 14 in August of 1997 when he began freestyling and eventually writing rhymes in April of 1998. He appeared on numerous Underground mixtapes and self produced recordings from the summer of 1998 until the winter of 1999. But he became too caught up with the dangerous hustling lifestyle of the streets and started to lose focus on what his real passion was. Conflict was dealt a blessing in disguise in October of 2000 when he was sent to Cheltenham Youth Facility (Boy's Village) and then directly to Mountain Manor Rehab for adolescences in Baltimore. Spending three months away in these two facilities probably saved his life. While incarcerated, Conflict improved his skills by reading, freestyling with peers, and writing more while completely sober and determined to change his life around. In rehab, he continued to write poetry and songs while being greatly influenced by his Baltimore city surroundings. After being released back home in Febuary of 2001, Conflict began writing songs persistently and had transformed into an emcee. He began performing live in Febuary of 2003 and has been seen all around Baltimore at numerous high schools, colleges, clubs, hotels, and other venues around Maryland. Conflict has been the poster child for the Anthony Jeter "In The Spotlight" show from 2004 to 2007. His song "Knowledge" was cut short and banned from Fox 45 Baltimore News for being "too real for TV" even though he didn't use a single bad word. Throughout his life he has remained controversial and concious minded despite criticism. Conflict learned how to produce and make his own instrumentals in July of 2004 and has been doing it ever since. He recently had the opportunites to present his music in person to KRS-One, Redman, Rakim, Lupe Fiasco, and Guru. Conflict has come a long way but still has a long way to go. He is going to continue to pursue his own success and he is very thankful and appreciates the support from every one of his fans worldwide.
