MISBEGOTTEN

We were originally a garage 4 piece band from Thornhill. It all started in summer 03 when Richard first started playing guitar. Darren, Simon and Colin all went to school together at Chamberlayne Park and all shared an interest in some heavy ass music. The three started off jamming at school and when they left school it moved to Colins garage. Simon at the time wasn't really interested in playing in a band but he was soon persuaded by the chemistry that the three made when playing. Richard used to go along on the days out due to shear boredom and watch the three and play on Colins guitar during his every 10 minute fag break. Soon Richard started jamming along aswell and eventually was invited to play in the band as a permanent fixture. After a year of playing the Swan, doing a few other shows, and a brief moment with a singer, all of the band progressed with their skills and talent but soon all went quiet. The band had differences and something needed to change for the better. After some dicussions the band carried on but with the departure of Colin and Richard taking over the role of lead Guitar. By this time Richard was the obvious choice as his technical skills were out of control. Since then the band have been going at it as a three piece with Richard on lead guitar and vocals, Darren on bass and vocals and Simon on drums and vocals, playing the crowd favourites like 'Killing in the name' and 'Love is all around'.
