We're SQUID58. We're ex-members of SKA'D FOR LIFE & HOTKNIVES. We've played in 10 countries, but so far not in the UK. Between us we've played 3000 gigs, and released 10 albums. We have a combined age of 150, but an I.Q. of 10.....We have an album out called DISMANTLED that's getting rave reviews around the Ska-Scene.

SQUID58 – A combination of band members from 2 of the UK’s biggest SKA exports during the 1990’s, MICK CLARE, TIM ATKINSON, ALAN BRAY & DOM WALSHE now come together as SQUID58. Their natural style and experience creates a rare mix of powerful guitar driven SKA supported by a solid rhythm section and lead by Michael’s distinct vocals.
The band launched themselves in 2006 on Grover’s ‘Easter Ska Jam’ Playing select dates in Germany, Denmark & Austria. On the back of this tour and the interest that followed, the band got together to record & independently release their debut album ‘DISMANTLED’. This album received many shining reviews which let to the band being signed to the reputable ‘Indie’ label – DO THE DOG. Their debut album was re-packaged & re-released in 2007 and the sales are still strong.
Since the album release SQUID58 have continued to play select dates in Europe including, Czech Republic, Holland & Hungary. In the autumn of 2008 the band will perform their first UK gig and there are plans for an EP release, for more information go to,
