About Me

Me, me, me... oh, I could tell you some things about me.

I could tell you that I'm an incredibly handsome, dashing, sensitive, jet-setting multimillionaire executive for a multinational corporation who looks just like [insert celebrity here] and who enjoys long walks on the beach and getting eaten by squid. But, of course, none of that is true. (Except the bit about walking on the beach, that is. I do actually enjoy that.)
I could tell you that I spend most of my daytime hours working for a non-profit healthcare provider as a chair-to-keyboard interface in a job position esoteric enough to require a minute of explanation which you wouldn't remember thirty seconds later. But frankly, that's boring... and hasn't been true since last July.

I could tell you that I'm in a band called The Kimberly Trip , one of whose songs is probably playing on this profile page right now as you're reading this. But then, if you're reading this, you probably already know that.

I could tell you that I'm a terribly interesting person with a wide variety of interests and many exciting opinions about each of them, which I would then be more than happy to share with you at the slightest wisp of a hint that you were interested. But since that describes everyone on MySpace, not to mention everywhere else on the Internet, it's not very helpful. (Oh, did I leave the sarcasm on? Silly me! Hang on... there, that's better.)

I could tell you that I'm fascinated by people, by the things they say and do and by the reasons behind them, by the labyrinthine reality-constructs each of us builds around ourselves to give us some context for (and shielding from) reality, and by all the ways in which we try to create some connection between ourselves and other people out there in the big scary world, each of them hidden in their little reality-construct. But that would be pretentious as hell, and something wouldn't quite track with the sentence.

I could tell you that I'm scared and thrilled, calm and angry, happy and sad, bouncy and tired, joyous and sorrowul and snarky and alive. But honestly, would you care?

I could tell you a lot of things. But I won't.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with something interesting to say.

My Blog

This is not the blog you're looking for...

I'm unlikely to ever use the myspace blog feature because I already have a blog of my own right here.
