About Me

I'm a jewelry designer that enjoys my childless urban lifestyle. I don't trust people who don't like cats, Pee Wee Herman, or Crispin Glover. I like Falco in a non-ironic way. I have a vintage lamp fixation that I'm trying to get under control because I am running out of room and outlets. I have jars of thousands of buttons, and I can spend hours "sorting" them. I've lived in twelve US states, and I hate capers.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Circus and burlesque folk, The Black Adder, circa season two.

The Wise Werner Herzog

Leave it to Werner Herzog to wonderfully articulate what has been getting to me for quite some time.  Mass media images are so dull, uninspired.   "I have the impression that the image...

Makin Tofu from Scratch!

About two years ago, I got the boyfriend to buy me a soymilk maker, a machine sort of like a steel blender/coffeemaker that makes the milk from dried beans that have been soaked overnight.  We al...

Summer is for Burly-Q

In summer you can most likely find me sitting in the shade drinking Arnold Palmers and reading breezy (but not insipid) books.  I'm mostly drawn to non-fiction; history, biography, autobiography,...

Honey Nut Blender Waffles

Now that I am well entrenched in my 30s, I'm becoming a paranoid health freak.  The spector of trans fats, refined sugars and toxins from plastics loom around every bend.  It takes effort to...
