DJ Check (NEW PROJECT IN THE WORKS!!)

Thabattlegrounds and Streetz Entertainment were formally 2 seperate sites on MSN Groups run by 2 different Managers...Jason Nickels and Alex Soh The sites were both ranked 3rd on the top hip hop battle groups of MSN. Streetz Entertainment eventally got hacked twice by Braveheart. As for thabattlegrounds...the site went up and down...went up and down then the manager gave the site up and then the site fell....Alex Soh was a member of thabattlegrounds and noticed that the site fell off. He talked to Jason Nickles on MSN and asked if he could take thabattlegrounds over and re-start the site and make it reign with current MSN Giant Wanna Battle...F4NB-(Freestyling 4 Niggaz n Bitches) and SEW-(Strickley Emcee World) .With help from his boi Justin Weber...Alex made thabattlegrounds a force to be rekoned with on MSN.Alex took the oppertunity to do what Boss Playa from MCBA -(MC BATTLE ARENA) another MSN group diddn't,and that was make a mixtape. The mixtape diddn't get off the ground so Alex deciced to do what BP diddin't. He went around Soundclick.com and made a mixtape tape which included some of the hottest emcees at the time to include...K1ng Qaadir and DZK.While in production of the Mixtape Alex realized that he diddn't have a DJ to help him. In December of 2005,Alex meet DJ Check,a Local DJ who was at the time doing his thing in the mixtape world. He showed Alex his skills on the turn tables and He and Alex became fast friends. When Alex saw that Check had never hosted a mixtape he asked Check if he would be interested in signing to Street King Records where he could host ALL of the Mixtapes that they made. Check accepted.With DJ Check hosting Lyrical King Heavyweights Volume 1,It became a runaway smash,so Alex took upon him self to make another mixtape "STREET HEAT INVASION" which was more of a street oriented mixtape.After the launch of "STREET HEAT INVASION" DJ Check talked with Alex about his dream to make an independent record label and sugested that maybe he shouldn't do the indepenednet label but insted of going for making a label why not make a mixtape distribution center...where they would browse artists on the Intertnet and get permisson to put the artists on their mixtapes,as well as put their own music on the mixtapes. He also suggested getting producers and other DJ's who make beats to help them make instrumental mixtapes. Alex agreed to it,and they changed their name of the company to "THE MIXTAPE DISCIPLE""were always looking for new talent" Alex says. "Check and I have be doing the mixtape thing for a while and were ready to show the world that a new breed of mixtapes kings is coming out."THE MIXTAPE DISCIPLE is always looking for Emces and producers to be down with their mixtapes so please feel free to email them if you wish to be a part of the legends in the making.
