About Me

Most of my recordings in the past were made either just by me (Tim) or with the assistance of my woofybuddy Sam (who makes wonderful music of his own audible at http://endoftheworld1969.com) and his brother Alex.
On some of my recordings, I am most chuffed to have the production and percussion assistance of Ms GB Jones, homocore pioneer and Fifth Columnist, and I am grateful that she put it (along with two others she produced and ones for which she cannot be blamed for original recordings ;) ) out on a tape she distributed for me in 2002, called SUPERTIM (and my condolences on the passing of Batgirl - but may she and Big Ethel romp in heaven together forever, friendly scary mastiffs that they are...). Now that I finally have a computer program for recording, I am working on teaching myself how to use it, and have even hauled out the drum machine my brother-in-law gave me. :) As a result, presently THOSE songs are hogging space here. :) In fact, I have NOW finished the album, ARMED WITH FIVE POUNDS OF HAMSTER FOOD (ask me about it).
My influences are all bad and incline me towards both evil and missing notes that do not exist in western tuning systems. I have suffered for my art, and now it’s your turn.
On which point, though none of my lyrics (yet) are there, check out http://www.singinginspring.tk for some of my poems (as to lyrics of NEW recordings, try www.awfpohf.tk).
And then there’s http://www.myspace.com/ponyboyzine for my moderately less disturbed alter ego, and a sad, neglected novel-in-regress at www.aliensinpolyester.tk (not to mention (why DO people say that and proceed to make a lie of the statement?) ponyboyzine.tk , my primary zine (2001-now), and noisequeenzine.tk, my secondary zine (1996-2001)) - and datimster.blogspot.com, as well as http://www.livejournal.com/~timmybearish and http://www.livejournal.com/~tim_e_bear. ..

An interesting year

Well, as the alleged Chinese curse goes (I might add I've asked every Chinese person I know, and this is news to them): 'May you live in interesting times.' As he pointed out to me, December 29th was ...

Sad news about lead singer of Blueboy, among other bands

Blueboy, a band whose records I was never able to find (in fact, I think I haven't even one release on Sarah in my collection, sadly). I have this depressing idea that now they may reappear somehow, u...

Stolen from my fellow zinester Scott (get well, brother)

In relief, a bullshit survey. (Hey, we can't all be Jonathan Broxton or Jonathan Papelbon.) 1.Who was your first prom date? Never went to a prom. 2.Who was your first roommate? None to date, unless...
