Sick Joke

Sick Joke was started in the spring of 2002 by two polocks and a diabetic. Ed Jendrzewski, Jason Polczinski, and Zack Welch. there were lots of people to try out for bass few people came and gone. Until a very talented jazz bassist Mike Rinfret joined in the summer of 2003. He left the following year for collage. We then recorded a three song demo with the help of our friend from Hexerei. The tention was already brewing and by this point Zack was fed up with Death Metal and also left. From that point Jason and Ed just started writing and tryed to record a full lenth with guest players but that fell through when Hound Dog Studios closed up. So Sick Joke sat dorment until summer of 2004 when Jason and Ed decided to start it back up with Jen Stamp and Jake Lawrence and we also borrowed Shadow Smith from Perpetual Winter to fill in on bass. It was going really well but there was some inside and outside tension. Until April of 2005 with the help of Rob Bridge at Helmet Studios we recorded a killer 4 song demo. Shortly after that the band once again disbanded. Now with a kick in the ass from our good friends in Pain Principle (The Philly Trip) and the support of our other family, friends, and fanz.
