Guess it's about time I put some info in here. I'm a single mother of 2 wonderful, crazy, pain in the butt teenages. My oldest, as you can see from the photo's posted is a football player and will be going to college this fall on a scholarship, my youngest, my daughter is 13 going on 21, thinks she knows it all. I'm sure if you have kids you understand what I'm getting at.I've been single/divorced for almost 5 years now, doesn't seem that long...doesn't time fly when your having fun...lol. My children have been my main focus, getting the oldest thur high school and on to college and the youngest thur those "trying" years...but with a teen age girl...I'm learning those "trying" years are going to go on for quite a while...so I'm just going to deal....lol.Now is the time I take and make time for me...to find new friend and explore new possiblities. I've been wrapped up in my kids and work for the past years that I haven't had time to stop and enjoy life and now I have that time. I am now finally at a point that I can take some breathing space and I am going to enjoy it. Don't get me wrong, my kids are always going to be my responsiblity, but as they both get older, they will become more responsible for themselves and less dependent on me...well isn't that the way it is suppose to work...lolA little background for thought...I have a BS degree in Internation Business with a minor in Accounting....I have been in Law Enforcement as a Juvenile Officer/Sheriff's Deputy, worked in Childern and Family Services doing CPS (Child Protect Services)-remove of children from the homes and I have worked in the court system as a Juvenile Probation/Custody Officer....and have also worked Department of Children Services both as CPS and Juvenile Justice. I can't even begin to tell you how many hours I have spent in the court room with attornies and judges or drafting legal documents...now you know why I'm not doing it anymore....plus kinda got tired of the meth houses...and a system that is set up to fail the kids.
I have been an accountant is some of the top fortune 500 companies and I have done this and that just because. I have went back to accounting seems the smart thing to do...pay is so much better, hours are great and no hazards to worry about....lolA little about me and my personality....as you can see from my above statements-I'm neither stupid nor dumb, so please do not assume to treatment me as such. And as for someone trying to control what goes on in my life...forget it. I'm a big girl and I've made my own decisions for many years now and I don't needs someone coming in and trying to bully me into doing something that I have no intention of doing.I'm very easy going....I am enjoing my life I avoid conflict if possible....remember I said if possible, if it involves my kids...well...any mommy worth her salt is going to take up for her kids. I've dealt with enough drama, conflict, fighting, and whatever else in my career to last me a life time....I don't want it in my personal life. Yes, I do realize people do not always agree but things can be discussed without yelling, hanging up the phone, cussing-which I might add just pisses me off that much more and you'll be lucky if I talk to you again. I looking for an adult relationship, with someone has grown up and got over whatever the heck happened before....we all have baggage....and that is life but how we deal with it makes us the person we are. We can't change our past, and most of us wouldn't anyway because that is what has shaped us into the person we are today. Plus personaly I wouldn't loose my kids....might pick a different father...lol...hey, but that is something you also learn with age.I grew up on the west coast...CA-Sacarmento to be exact went to college in Rexburg Idaho and Provo, Utah and return here and married. Spent sometime living in surronding states but when my oldest started JR High I stayed put because of his sports. It so hard to believe that he is graduating this year....hmmmmmm....but I am so glad. My daughter is not into sports so she is flexible as to what she and I do. I've looked into different possiblities but time will tell and the right answer will come.If you would like to know anything else just drop me a line....have a great week.
