Bay Area Artists (Too Short, Tupac, E-40, The Luniz, The Delinquents, 3xKrazy, Rappin Ron/Bad Influenz, Richie Rich). Also Jay-Z, Nas, Jazzy Fresh, B. Pinkard. Anything else I listen to is either smooth Jazz or R&B; Najee and Boney James are a couple of my favorites. Everything else is Gospel (Love Alive 1,2,3,4,5 and every other one they put out, Donald Lawrence, Sunny, Jamie, and Walter Hawkins.) A picture of one of my favorite albums is on my page somewhere. The album cover you see consistently makes me feel as though I'm looking through my own eyes in my younger days and it identifies how I feel now when I listen to the tracks.
Malcolm X is one of my favorites, Cabin in the sky, Above the Rim is probably above them all, the hood movies (Boyz n the hood, Clockers, I'm bout it, Gang Tapes, MenaceIISociety,) A beautiful Mind (sometimes I feel just as sane as the main character), American Gangster
THE WIRE, Flavor of Love, BET, CNN, and Soulbeat before it went off (What ya'll know about Jonesercise?) The Boondocks:

The Bible, My Bondage and my Freedom by F. Douglass, The Autobiography of Martin Luther King, The Souls of Black Folks by W.E.B. Dubois, Hoops by Walter Dean Myers, some Zane books ;-) and too many others to name I love reading.
My mother, she is an inspiration to me because of the strength and honesty she has displayed, my big homie Andre for staying about progress and being the Pioneer that he is, and many historical figures who lives, drive and character I admire: Frederick Douglass, Benjamin Banneker, Martin Luther THE King, Malcolm X, and the people whose blood, sweat, and tears made it possible for me to have a life filled with more opportunity than was available to them.
