I'm a Sergeant in the United States Army. I've been in for 3 1/2 years and have another 2 left on this contract. I’m stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. St. Louis is only 15 miles away, but it’s still not the same as good old Chicago. Anyway, I aim to let my contract expire and work as either a programmer or continue to work with the military as a civil service employee.
I'm thrilled to be where I am today. I spent the majority of my first 1 1/2 years in the Army on some sort of a self-discovery. Well...mission successful. I've changed for the best and am happy with myself. I have an appreciation for logic and good sense. I am, by nature, a perfectionist with a slight touch of obsessive compulsive disorder. I'm the kind of person who likes to "be on the railroad tracks". I take the time to dismantle my thoughts and roadblocks. I reassemble my thoughts such that I will fully understand what the situation is. This method of thinking has brought me much success and few headaches!
I am married to my beautiful wife, Mary, who I love very much. Some time ago, I was single and hopeless. I would never have expected that I would have met someone as wonderful as she is. I feel lucky and grateful everyday that the path that I chose (or the path that chose me) landed me where I am now. I can't wait to have a huge house, great jobs, and 2-3 kids. We've already accomplished a lot in the time that we've been together. We both have pretty nice cars, a nice apartment, and find the time and money to have a great time every weekend! It's a non-stop roller coaster ride over here :DI am Steven Shizzle.
