About Me

As Robin Sharma says:
With better awareness you can make better choices and when you make better choices, you will see better results.
My name is Philip, my friends call me Phildo* Im 22, tall, skinny, yet wide. Green eyed, curly haired, with a chance of fro-action. I love my music heavy with a groove. I do also love the melodic element of songwriters and the sound of Taylor acoustic guitars in the hands of folks who know how to use it. I am very aware of other people. Both emotionally and physically. Ill go out of my way to do nice things for people. Id like to think that it will come back around to me however this is purely a positive outlook that has yet to materialize. Apparently people like me are rare. At least in Northern California. My friends are amazing. Ive needed them more of late than any other part of my life. Without them i dont know where my mind would be right now. Mean people suck.
I love: Baseball, fourth generation Honda Preludes, Pumas, driving, writing, metal, reading, learning, feeling like im better off than the day before, New Belgium beer, blunts, camping, trail riding, street (bicycle) riding, RUNNING, working out (not evident at the moment), ive had guitars for years now, they are fun to play and jam on, but its not a passion of mine.
I have a great job. Im working on paying things off and getting another H22 powered prelude on the road. I have an entirely too expensive set of walls i pay to reside in. My brother and my kitty cat Nala share the space with me. She doesnt pay anything though. Im very clean and organized. I put things away because they have a designated place to be. Why designate a space for something only to leave it lying about?
I have a lot of things that materialistic people would be tremendously zealous and bigheaded about. Im however not a slave to my aesthetic preferences. They are only that. Preferances. I know as well as anyone that life is difficult. I had a minimalistic adolescence. Let's just say that if a biography were written for my first 22 years it would be lackluster. I appreciate the things i have, because i know what it is to truly need.
Im online all day long at work. I have MSN and AIM messengers up while im at work. My aim SN is snuPHILIPagus Come and say hello. Help make the day fly by.
An introduction followed by my own warning.
Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself.
Think for yourself... Question authority.
-Timothy Leary
Through my research i have developed a position i feel strongly about. This is a genuine call for your sincere concern on the same subject.
Take nothing at face value. Your duty as a human being is to use your natural, magnificent ability to intellectually process the available information and decipher for yourself what the evidence outlines. American politics no longer aim to serve the good of the people, much less the people themselves. The population is nothing more than profit generating mindless drones to the establishment. That profit comes straight from your, and every citizen in this country's, soul. Literally. They want to own you. And they are WELL on their way. Fear the system that is in motion in this country, as it is the very wrecking ball that has the power, and most importantly, the DESIRE to carry out it’s warmongering, deceitful mission; also known as the ‘Project for The New American Century.’ The men within this organization can be likened to the general consensus regarding 'little' men driving big trucks. A necessary equivalent to the lack 'thereof'. We, you, have the ability to be heard. Use your voice or your expressive form of choice. Shit. Draw. Write. Speak. Sing. Be heard. Dont contain your own desire to seek the truth. The sooner you know. The sooner you will want to know more.
The truth is not available in the mediums this generation considers reliable. GET INFORMED. Not by watching television, not by reading the newspapers, but researching and educating yourself on the cold, disturbing facts. The internet is a proverbial bottomless pit of information. Use it. (http://www.canadafreepress.com/world.htm) Things need to change. Either this is recognized, or the population of the United States, as well as the world will be culturally extinguished. If this is not given the attention needed to turn things around, the world will suffer exponentially until the human race is nothing more than a shell of unrealized potential; a tragedy too great to express with any number of words or metaphors.
Think For Yourself… Question Authority
Back up your 'knowledge' with all the facts. Not the just ones that the political party decides is the gospel. Never to be reasonably and logically evaluated. But only to be the end all, and be all of the FINAL word. Find yourself a rabbit hole and take a peak inside.
-Philip Burke
